Shrigley Hall Wedding Photography

Nestled within the countryside around Macclesfield lies the village of Pott Shrigley and within that village is the beautiful Shrigley Hall. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at Shrigley Hall several times. I first met Emma & Stuart when I shot Emma’s brother David & Laura’s wedding back in 2014 and was thrilled that they asked me to join them for their wedding day.

I met up with Emma in the morning, she was relaxing with her bridesmaids and being pampered. Stuart arrived soon after for drinks with his groomsmen before greeting the couple’s guests. I soon returned to Emma who was in full dressing mode and ready for the day ahead.

Ceremony In The Tilden Suite

Once everyone had gathered in the Tilden Suite, Emma made the short car journey to their ceremony. The couple soon exchanged their vows, rings and sharing their first kiss as man and wife.

The party then made their way out for drinks and to congratulate the couple. I stepped back at this point and just watched everyone just having a great time together before taking their places for the wedding breakfast and a round of speeches. After their delicious meal, we wandered the hall for some portraits.

Their party soon began as the couple greeted their evening guests. After cutting their cake and taking to the floor for their first dance, I managed to steal them away for their final portrait before leaving them to enjoy their evening with their family and friends.

Another amazing wedding at Shrigley Hall with another very lovely couple! Massive Congratulations to Emma & Stuart, I had an excellent day with you all, thanks so much for having me with you and I hope that you have an amazing honeymoon!
