Adlington Hall Wedding Photography

On Saturday I spent an amazing day with this rather lovely couple, Cerys & Tom at the stunning Adlington Hall near Macclesfield.

I began the morning with Cerys who was at her parents home relaxing and enjoying some time with her bridesmaids before preparing herself for the day ahead. I took some time to shoot all the lovely details of what she would be wearing before stepping back and watching what was going on. Once the time had come, Cerys was helped in to her outfit by her sister before jumping her Audi for the short journey to Norbury Church in Hazel Grove.

I raced ahead to meet up with Tom who arrived with his groomsmen to greet the couple’s family and friends. As everyone had gathered inside, Cerys soon arrived and was walked down the aisle by her father to meet Tom. Once the formal part of their day was complete, the couple exited the church to congratulatory hugs, confetti, and some family groups before jumping back into the car for the short drive through the countryside.

I was there to greet the couple as they arrived and captured the moment their guests arrived on their Leyland Titan L29 Bus. Once everyone had arrived and enjoyed the drinks reception, we paused for some portraits in the gardens and around the stunning hall itself before dinner. As everyone was convened in the gorgeously decorated Hunting Lodge the couple were welcomed into their wedding breakfast to enjoy good company and a delicious meal.

After the food was finished, everyone enjoyed an evening of chatting and relaxing in the lodge before the evening. Their singer Ewan Sim started off the party and the couple took to the floor for their first dance which was soon filled by their family and friends.

What a day it was and always a pleasure to spend it with some really lovely people. Massive Congratulations to Cerys & Tom, I hope that you have an awesome honeymoon, thanks so much for having me as your photographer!
