Abbeywood Estate Wedding Photography
On Saturday I spent an amazing day with an awesome couple at the stunning Abbeywood Estate in Delamere.
I began the morning with Emma who was at her parents home relaxing and enjoying some time with her bridesmaids before preparing herself for the day ahead. I took some time to shoot all the lovely details of what she would be wearing before stepping back and watching what was going on. Once the time had come, Emma was helped into her outfit by her girls and paused for some portraits in the garden before jumping her Rolls Royce Phantom for the short journey to St Josephs Church in Sale.
I raced ahead to meet up with David who arrived with his groomsmen to greet the couple’s family and friends. As everyone had gathered inside, Emma soon arrived and was walked down the aisle by her father to meet David. Their ceremony mass was interspersed with readings, hymns lead by one of their friends singing from the balcony, moments of laughter and heartfelt glances between the couple. Once the formal part of their day was complete, the couple exited the church to a flurry of confetti and congratulatory hugs before jumping back into the Phantom.

As we headed into the gorgeous Cheshire countryside, the sun was streaming through the clouds and we arrived ready for an awesome afternoon at the Abbeywood Estate. I was there to greet the couple as they arrived and whilst their guests were arriving, we wandered the lush gardens for some portraits in the sunshine. Once everyone had arrived and enjoyed the drinks reception, we paused for some family groups in the gardens before dinner. As everyone was convened in the gorgeously decorated glasshouse, the couple were welcomed into their wedding breakfast to enjoy good company and a delicious meal.
After the food was finished, everyone enjoyed a round of speeches in the afternoon sun before wandering the gardens. During this time, I stole the couple away for some more portraits in the setting sun. It was during this time that the amazing Gillian Edgar Band was setting up for the evening party. Once everyone was ready, the couple were welcomed into their party, cut their cake and took to the dance floor as man and wife. A special mention has to out to the groom David for the dance, although nervous he threw Emma around beautifully and much to the delight of the guests. We also had the chance to shoot some final portraits in one of the quaint greenhouses before leaving the couple to enjoy their evening.
What a day it was and always a pleasure to spend it with some amazing people including Daniel and Lauren from Marriage in Motion Wedding Flims. Massive Congratulations to Emma & David, I hope that you have an awesome honeymoon, thanks so much for having me as your photographer!
