An Alluring Spring Mottram Hall Wedding

I’m lucky enough to be recommended for Mottram Hall Wedding Photography and always have a great time spending the day at this gorgeous Cheshire wedding venue. Gemma & Eric had arranged a fantastic set of suppliers that you can view at the bottom of the blog post.

2020 is turning out to be a rather strange one, I was excited to begin a year of amazing weddings all over the UK although my season came to a bit of halt a few weeks after this awesome day with Gemma & Eric at Mottram Hall.

I spent the morning with both the bride and groom who were getting ready at Mottram Hall surrounded by their family. There was a great deal of laughter and a few tears during the morning but the couple had an ace time and were looking forward to the day ahead.

The St Andrews suite had been beautifully decorated by Alison from Lasting Memories, with an abundance of candles and silk tree foliage. Gemma & Eric’s daughters walked down the aisle first much to the delight of the couple’s family and friends then Gemma’s sister and bridesmaid followed by Gemma and her dad. After a lovely ceremony, the couple completed the formal part of the day and made their way out of the St Andrews suite and into a flurry of confetti before enjoying their drinks reception in the newly refurbished Garden Room.

Danny Jewell Magician

Gemma & Eric had booked the fantastic magician Danny Jewell to entertain the wedding guests during the drinks reception with some card tricks and he certainly didn’t disappoint. During this time we paused for some family group portraits before having a wander around the Rose Gardens of the hall for some couple portraits before dinner. After the couple was welcomed into their wedding breakfast, they enjoyed a terrific round of speeches before enjoying a delicious meal.

An Amazing Evening Party

After dinner, the guests retired back to the Garden Room to await the preparations for the evening party, they sat, chatted, and laughed together. Gemma & Eric then led the guests back to the St Andrews suite where they cut their amazing wedding cake and took to the floor for their first dance. Their family and friends were in a great mood for a party and joined them on the dance floor for the rest of the night.

So a massive Thank You and Congratulations to Gemma & Eric, all the very best to you guys. I had an amazing day as your Mottram Hall Wedding Photographer!
