Bartle Hall Wedding Photography

On Thursday I ventured up to Lower Bartle near Preston to spend the day with this lovely couple, Tara & Scott at Bartle Hall. Set in sixteen acres of picturesque grounds and woodland, this charming manor house has a rich history dating back to the 1600s.

I started the day off with Tara, she was relaxing with her bridesmaids at her home, everything was calm but with a great sense of excitement bubbling underneath. I then met up with Scott at church who was even more relaxed and casually readying himself for what was set to be an excellent day ahead.

St Francis Church in Feniscliffe

Tara arrived at church in her Rolls Royce and made the short walk into the church flanked by her bridesmaids and her dad. After their ceremony, the couple exited the church to hugs and kisses from family and friends, before walking through a proper storm of colourful confetti and pausing for refreshing ice cream.

A Balmoral Suite Wedding Breakfast

Arriving at Bartle Hall, we took the opportunity to enjoy the great weather for some portraits in the gardens before returning back to the party. The guests were soon seated for dinner and the couple were introduced in to their wedding breakfast. After a delicious meal, I wandered the room capturing the relaxed and fun-loving atmosphere before the evening began. Tara & Scott soon cut their amazing wedding cake and took to the dance floor to perform their first dance. They were soon joined by family and friends who spent the rest of the night laughing, dancing and having a ball.

So what a fantastic day! Huge congratulations to Tara & Scott, I had an amazing day with you, your family and friends, thanks so much for having me with you as your photographer!
