Black Tie & Cocktails Wedding At The Mere Court Hotel

The autumn sun was shining as Natalie got ready in the Presidential suite, aptly named after a certain presidential guest (Hillary’s husband) with her girls, bridesmaids Vicki, Rosie, Deborah and Kate. Her rose gold shoes perfectly complimented her simple but classic gown from Wedding Belles Frodsham and her jewellery was fit for a queen never mind a presidential candidate.

It was then over to St Marys Church at Rostherne, Knutsford, a beautiful old building dating back to 1188 where the happy couple were married by Reverend Philip Robinson. The views over the lake were stunning so after we’d thrown the confetti we snatched a few couples shots over looking the Rostherne Mere lake before heading back to The Mere Court Hotel for the party.

Candles, crystal and cocktails

Anyone who’s been to The Mere Court Hotel knows that it’s a lovely venue and at Chris and Natalie’s wedding it was no exception. Decked out in pale pinks, with candles, crystal, mirrored centrepieces and stunning pastel florals by Black Eyed Suzie, -who also made Natalie’s amazing bouquet- it really gave out that luxurious vibe. And the venue wasn’t the only one. The Groom and his boys including 5 year old son Harry and best man Ryan wore Tuxedos and the tables were named after cocktails, a thoroughly classy affair.

Whilst the guests supped champagne I took Natalie and Chris out into the grounds accompanied by Michael Langley from Satin Pictures to take advantage of the gorgeous, golden, autumn colours for some more portraits and a bit of time to themselves. We then headed back to enjoy the food, speeches and entertainment of a Del Boy impersonator (yes you heard that right – he was fantastic!) and singer Marc Kenny.

Mr and Mrs Smith

The first dance was twirled to the brilliant and highly appropriate “Mr and Mrs Smith” by the Stereophonics in front of a backdrop of huge light up Mr and Mrs Smith letters from Love Lights The Way.

Natalie and Chris what a great wedding, Satin pictures, I can’t wait to see the wedding video.
