Bridge Hotel Prestbury Wedding Photography
Nestled within the countryside around Macclesfield lies the village of Prestbury and within that village is the beautiful Bridge Hotel. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at The Bridge several times, intimate days with blazing sunshine and good times.
I met up with Caroline in the morning, she was relaxing with her bridesmaids and being pampered by the fabulous MUA Jo from Absolutely Flawless. Brett arrived soon after, spending some time for drinks with his groomsmen before greeting the couple’s guests. I soon returned to Caroline who was in full dressing mode and ready for the day ahead.
Once everyone had gathered for the ceremony, Caroline made her way through the hotel and down the stairs to meet her dad who would accompany her down the aisle. The couple was treated to some readings by their friends which brought on some tears and laughter too before exchanging their vows, rings and sharing their first kiss as man and wife.

The party then made their way out into the afternoon sun for drinks and to congratulate the couple. I stepped back at this point and just watched everyone just having a great time together before taking their places for the wedding breakfast. After their delicious meal, the biggest sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever seen and some gentle encouragement for the best man, everyone enjoyed a round of speeches.
Everyone then made their way outside to enjoy the last of the day’s sun as the couple greeted their evening guests before their party began. After cutting their cake and taking to the floor for their first dance, I managed to steal them away for their final portrait before leaving them to enjoy their evening with their family and friends.
