Macdonald Manchester Hotel Wedding Photography

On Saturday I spent an amazing day with this lovely couple Marcia & Gareth. It was gloriously sunny when I arrived with Marcia, she was at home with her family and friends enjoying a nice relaxing morning being pampered and preparing for her wedding day ahead.

A Ceremony at St Mary Magdalene Church

Gareth was already at church when I arrived, he was greeting family and friends before calmly awaiting his bride’s arrival in a stunning Rolls Royce Phantom. Marcia was escorted down their aisle by her very proud son and handed over to an equally proud-looking Gareth. They enjoyed a lovely ceremony with much laughter, a few tears, and a lot of hearty singing. After walking back up the aisle together they stood to be warmly congratulated by their guests before enjoying a flurry of confetti.

Arriving at their hotel, Marcia & Gareth enjoyed their drinks reception before joining me at the University of Manchester campus for a wander into their gardens for some portraits before dinner. The guests were soon seated and the couple enjoyed a delicious meal followed by a round of speeches. After a short break, the couple’s evening guests arrived and they were treated to more hugs of congratulations before their party began.

Marcia & Gareth soon cut their amazing wedding cake and took to the dance floor to perform their first dance. They were soon joined by family and friends who spent the rest of the night laughing, dancing, and having a ball. So a HUGE Congratulations to Marcia & Gareth, thanks so much for having me as your photographer. I had an excellent day with you all and I wish you all the very best for your future together!
