Manchester Wedding Photography – Lucy & Daniel
On Saturday I spent an amazing day with a really lovely couple, Lucy & Daniel. I began the morning with Lucy who was at her parents home relaxing and enjoying some time with her bridesmaids before preparing herself for the day ahead. I took some time to shoot all the lovely details of what she would be wearing before stepping back and watching what was going on. Tash from Love Luella Photography joined me for the day and spent the morning with Daniel and his guys.
St Georges Church in Stockport
The couple celebrated their wedding at St Georges Church in Stockport. As everyone had gathered inside, Lucy soon arrived and was walked down the aisle by her dad to meet Daniel. Their ceremony was interspersed with readings, hymns, moments of laughter, heartfelt glances between the couple. Once the formal part of their day was complete, the couple exited the church to a flurry of confetti and congratulatory hugs before jumping into their car for the short journey to The Waterside Hotel in Didsbury for their afternoon.
England 2 – 0 Sweden
The sun was shining as we arrived ready for an awesome afternoon at The Waterside. I was there to greet the couple as they arrived and whilst their guests were arriving, we wandered the lush grounds for some portraits in the sunshine. As we all know, the World Cup is currently in full flow and England was facing Sweden that very afternoon. As a massive football fan, Daniel and his football fan guests enjoyed an impromptu break to watch the game. Luckily England triumphed over Sweden and this put everyone in an even greater mood for the evening ahead.
After the food was finished, everyone enjoyed a relaxed evening chatting and laughing together. Once the evening began, the couple were welcomed into their party, cut their cake and took to the dance floor as man and wife. We also had the chance to shoot some final portraits with a gorgeous night sky before leaving the couple to enjoy their evening.
So Massive Congratulations to Lucy & Daniel, I hope that you have an awesome honeymoon and thanks so much for having me as your photographer!
