Mottram Hall Wedding Photography
On Saturday I visited one of my very favourite wedding venues, the stunning Mottram Hall. I was joining Hollie & David who after many years in the planning were finally celebrating their wedding with their family and friends. Joining me for the day was my great friend Paul Williams from Ginger Beard Weddings who would exercise his drone flying and cinematic skills.
I started this very hot morning with Hollie in the gorgeous wood-panelled Gainsborough Suite of the hotel, she was relaxing with her family and bridesmaids, surrounded by fans and preparing herself for the day ahead. Wandering off, I found David who had arrived with his guys in their luxury white wedding taxi. We shot a few portraits, had a chat about the exciting day ahead and I left him to relax in the bar and greet family and friends. Returning to Hollie, she was nearly ready after bring dressed by her maid of honour.
A Gorgeous Wedding Ceremony In The Rose Garden
The guests soon made their way over to the Rose Garden and once everyone was seated, Hollie and her bridesmaids followed. Reaching the middle of the aisle, Dave turned to look at Hollie and it’s safe to say that his breath was probably taken away right there and then. After a lovely ceremony filled with a little laughter and a few joyful tears, the couple made their way into the Garden Room for the formal part of their ceremony. They then exited to a flurry of confetti and welcome hugs of congratulations from family and friends. A little later, we had a wander back through the Rose Gardens for some portraits before dinner was announced.
A Delicious Meal In The St Andrews Suite
After dinner, the guests were treated to a round of speeches before retreating onto the patio for a relaxing evening. During this time, the sun was setting perfectly over the golf course so we followed Hollie & David as they had a wander together. Heading back to the St Andrews Suite, the awesome Six15 had set up and House music DJ and producer Will Wilkinson was set to kick the party off. Hollie & David entered their party, cut their cake and took to the floor for their first dance. Their family and friends soon joined them along with Sax Soloist TomDaLips and Percussionist Kami C to play them into the early hours of the morning.
So what a fantastic day! Hugh congratulations to Hollie & David, I had an amazing day with you, your family and friends, thanks so much for having me with your as your photographer!
