Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography

This weekend I spent Saturday with a rather lovely couple, their family and their friends. Michelle & David celebrated their wedding at the majestic Peckforton Castle in Tarporley.

I started the day with Michelle who was in the beautiful Bukeley suite, getting ready with the help of her bridesmaids and just enjoying the morning. I then met up with David and his best man Paul before the ceremony for some portraits too. Once everyone had gathered in the Great Hall, Michelle and her girls made their way down for the ceremony.

After the formal part of their ceremony was finalized, the couple and their party exited the castle and walked together to the chapel for a blessing. This was followed by a drinks reception in the Long Gallery before we paused for some family groups and a large everyone shot which took me up to the dizzying heights of the castle battlements.

We also managed to capture some beautiful portraits before the light disappeared and then the couple sat for their wedding breakfast in the stunningly decorated Great Hall. After dinner, I joined the group as they enjoyed a round of speeches before stealing the couple away for a few portraits on the Wine Cellar. Everyone then simply enjoyed a relaxing evening before the party began. Michelle & David then used Excalibur to cut their wedding cake and took the floor for their first dance. We captured more of the party before leaving everyone to enjoy the rest of the night.

To Michelle & David, I hope that you guys have an amazing honeymoon. Thanks so much for having me with you as your photographer, I had an excellent day with you all!!
