Peruga Wedding Photographer
Last weekend I was lucky enough to join Louise and Mike at Peruga at Woodheys. Such a gorgeously intimate venue in the countryside around Marple and Glossop and one of the venues that I shot my first weddings at, so it’s a place that brings back some great memories.
I began the day with Louise, her family, and her bridesmaids. The atmosphere was calm, very chilled out and the girls just enjoyed their morning together before getting ready and hopping on their vintage bus to Peruga. I was there to meet them after spending a few minutes with Mike, his best man and after shooting the lovely decor that Louise & Mike had put together for their day.
After a very emotional ceremony, the guests joined the couple on the patio for some handmade ice cream and drinks before Louise & Mike hopped back on their vintage bus for a ride around the countryside. When they returned, their guests were ready to greet them with handfuls of confetti before we managed to shoot some formal groups with family and friends.
Portraits In The Sunshine
After dinner, and a few impromptu speeches, we stole the couple away for some portraits in the grounds around the venue in the gorgeous evening sunshine, bringing them back just in time to greet their evening guests. Everyone then just relaxed into the evening before the couple stepped up for their first dance and enjoyed a live singing set from one of their guests.
We then set up and manned the photo booth for the couple and gathered the guests to shoot some fun images for Louise & Mikes’s image collection. As the darkness drew in, I brought out the couple for their final shot on the patio before leaving them to enjoy their evening.
Many congratulations to Louise & Mike, I hope that they have an amazing honeymoon and I’ll see you both when you’re back!
