Quarry Bank Mill Wedding Photography
To celebrate a wedding is always an amazing special occasion. However to shoot a wedding celebration at such a richly historic and unique venue such as Quarry Bank Mill was a great honour.
Samantha was at the Hallmark Hotel on the morning of the wedding, so I joined her there. She relaxed into her day surrounded by her family, the amazing Sarah Meredith MUA was on hand to prepare the girls with a little make up.
A Wedding Ceremony At Norcliffe Chapel
I soon ventured into the idyllic Styal Village to meet Paul who was at Norcliffe Chapel greeting the couples family and friends. After a few portraits, I left Paul to calmly wait inside church for Samantha to arrive. She did soon after and with the hep of her dad, made her way to church and down the aisle to join Paul for their ceremony. After their ceremony and the formal part of their day, the couple exited church and into the welcome arms of their family and friends for hugs and kisses.
An Afternoon At Quarry Bank Mill
Driving a short distance to the mill, the couple arrived and we were treated to a portrait tour of the various historic machines and quirky areas of the mill. We also paused for some group portraits in the lovely meadow behind the mill before the wedding guests took their seats for a delicious afternoon tea and a round of speeches.
The Wedding Party
After dinner, we jumped into the golf buggy for a quick tour of the private mill gardens before the heavens opened on us (the last portrait has no special effects, that’s actual rain!) and we returned to begin the evening party, DJ Legend Andy Murphy providing the entertainment. Samantha and her dad began the dancing before Paul joined in for their first dance as man and wife, the guests joining the couple soon after and many never left the dance floor.
So what an amazing day! Hugh Congratulations to Samantha & Paul, I had an amazing day with you, your family and friends, thanks so much for having me with your as your photographer!
