A Rustic Inspired Wedding At Pryors Hayes
It’s always a pleasure to shoot weddings at brand new venues, so when I first met Stacey & Roy at the wedding of Rebecca & Jayson, I was pretty excited when they told me all about their Pryors Hayes wedding photography ideas. This stunning venue, just a short distance from Chester offers a unique style of rustic and countryside charm set within 120 acres of tree-lined grasslands, lakes, and gardens.
I spent the first half of the morning over at the Hollies Forest Cabins with Roy and his groomsmen, they had some beers in the hot tub before getting ready into Whitfield & Ward suits and enjoying a bit of banter before heading to church. I then drove over to Winsford to spend a little time with Stacey as she got ready at the family home with her bridesmaids. Makeup Artist Lucinka was on hand to make sure that the girls looked amazing before they got dressed and jumped into the car for the short journey over to the church.
St Chads Church In Winsford Wedding Ceremony
I met up again with Roy who was busy greeting the couple’s family and friends at St Chads Church in Winsford. Stacey arrived shortly after in her Beauford wedding car and made the great walk up the aisle with her dad to meet a very calm and collected groom. After a great ceremony mixed with formal Church of England proceedings and informal stories from the vicar, the bride and groom signed the register and walked back up the aisle as man and wife. Outside were guests armed with confetti and the couple enjoyed a proper laugh before greeting their family and friends with hugs of congratulations.

Making my up the tree-lined driveway to Pryors Hayes, I knew we were in for a great afternoon. The sun was out and walking into the venue, the guests were arriving and in a great mood to party. Everyone was out enjoying the great weather, chatting and laughing, enjoying delicious canapes and cheering the couple with glasses of chilled champagne. During the afternoon, we paused for some family groups before having a quick wander around the venue for some couple portraits before dinner.
A Relaxing Sunny Evening In The Gardens
After a delicious meal in the rustic, beautifully styled wedding breakfast room and an entertaining round of speeches, the guests enjoyed a relaxing evening of chatting and drinks in the setting sunshine. I took the chance to steal the couple away for a few more portraits in the golden hour of the evening. Jumping on golf buggies, we got the chance to explore more of the grounds of this stunning venue before heading back to the party.

The wedding band Folk Flock was in charge of the entertainment and kept the dance floor pretty much full and bouncing for the rest of the night.
