Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Photography
It’s an amazing feeling when you’re shooting a perfect wedding day. The wedding of Gemma & Stuart at the amazing Sandhole Oak Barn was very much one of those days!
The sun was blazing as I arrived with Gemma in the morning. She was in the Granary with her bridesmaids, relaxing and excitedly preparing herself for the day ahead. After capturing the details of her dress, shoes, flowers and accessories, I stepped back and simply watched what was going on.
After a ceremony filled with emotion and laughter, Gemma & Stuart completed the formal part of their day before strolling into the sunshine to enjoy their drinks reception and lots of hugs and kisses. As everyone was gathered by the lake, we paused for some family groups before wandering the grounds for some gorgeous portraits before dinner.
An Afternoon Wedding Party In The Sun
Once everyone was seated, the couple enjoyed a round of speeches before a delicious meal. I returned to the party as everyone was lounging, chatting and enjoying each others company. I then stole Gemma & Stuart away for a few more portraits in the golden evening sun before their evening began.
It was soon time for the couples first dance, their family and friends soon joining them on the dance floor. As darkness was approaching, I took the couple outside for their final portrait by the lake before leaving them to enjoy their evening together.
As always it was a pleasure to be at Sandhole Oak Barn and work with those lovely people from Top Table Events. Massive Congratulations to Gemma & Stuart, I had a simply amazing day with you, your family and friends. I hope that you have an amazing honeymoon, thanks so much for having me as your photographer!
