Statham Lodge Hotel Wedding Photography

On Friday, I was over in Lymm at the gorgeous Statham Lodge Hotel. A former grand country manor house with stunning gardens and woodlands.

I first arrived with Vikki who was getting ready in her suite surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. The atmosphere was calm but with a sense of surrealism that the day had arrived but didn’t feel real quite yet. Sean was also at the hotel and I spent a little time with him and his groomsmen too.

The girls then began to get ready, Vikki was expertly zipped into her gorgeous dress and we had time to pause for some portraits. Once everyone was ready, the wedding party made the short walk downstairs to the Shelley Suite.

Ice Cream & Garden Games

After the couple enjoyed their ceremony, they exited into the sunshine as husband and wife to be congratulated by their family and friends. During this time we paused for some family groups, ice cream, garden games and then stole the couple away for a few portraits around this amazing location. Vikki & Sean then returned to the party just in time for their wedding breakfast in the Gainsborough Suite.

After dinner, the party retired to the lounge to chat and relax. Soon the evening was ready to begin and the couple cut their delicious cake surrounded by their friends before taking to the dance floor as husband and wife. I then stepped back and captured everyone having a great time, chatting, relaxing and dancing a plenty.

So what an excellent way to spend a Friday and huge congratulations to Vikki & Sean!! Thanks so much for having me as your photographer!
