Lowry Theatre Wedding Photography

I first met Jenny & Matt back in August of 2014, Lianne & Ben (who’s wedding you can see here) very kindly recommended me to this lovely couple and I was thrilled when they asked me to join them at the stunning Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays.

The day began at Jenny’s parent’s house where Jenny was relaxing with her bridesmaids and being expertly prepared by MUA Emily from Absolutely Flawless, the house cats Gavin and Stacey were also on hand for a little moral support. After the prosecco was popped, the flowers were snipped and the bride was dressed, we hopped in the car for the journey into Central Manchester. Gazing out the window on the way, I felt the excitement of spending a sunny day with the buzz of the city around us.

After their formal ceremony in the Hexagon Room, this fun-loving group of people spent a relaxing day in the lovely summer sun interspersed by family groups, a few portraits by the water and then a delicious wedding breakfast in the Compass Room. The evening party soon began, with the couple greeting their evening guests before taking to the dance floor firstly as man and wife then with their family and friends. I then whisked the couple away for their final portrait on the Millennium Bridge before leaving them to enjoy the rest of their night.

What an amazing day it was, great weather, familiar faces and a lovely couple that enjoyed every second of their day! Hugh Congratulations to Jenny & Matt, I hope that you guys have an amazing honeymoon, thanks so much for having me with you as your photographer.
