Mottram Hall Wedding Photography

When I first met Jenna & Matthew, we chatted about their wedding plans and how they first met. With more couples meeting over the interwebs, I wasn’t surprised to hear that they met online. I was surprised to hear that they first got chatting through playing World of Warcraft and as I was familiar with the game, it was great to hear that they were incorporating the game into their Mottram Hall wedding theme.

I first arrived with Jenna who was getting ready in the Terrace Suite surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. The atmosphere was calm but with a sense of surrealism that the day had arrived but didn’t feel real quite yet. Matthew soon arrived and I caught up with him beside the lake for some shots with his best man before they went to prepare and I returned to Jenna.

The girls then began to get ready and Jenna was expertly tied into her gorgeous custom made Amanda Wyatt gown by Amanda herself (who is Matthew’s auntie). Once everyone was ready, the wedding party made the short walk over to the St Andrews Suite and Jenna was escorted down the isle by her very proud mum to meet Matthew.

After the couple enjoyed their ceremony which was interspersed with a few readings and a lot of laughter, they made their way to the Garden Room as husband and wife to be congratulated by their family and friends. During this time we paused for some family groups in the gardens and then stole the couple away for a few portraits around this amazing location. Jenna & Matthew then returned to the party just in time for their wedding breakfast in the main barn which was beautifully decorated by Red Floral Architecture.

Before the evening began, we captured a few more creative portraits around the front of the hall before returning to the party. The couple then cut their delicious cake surrounded by their friends before taking to the dance floor as husband and wife. I then stepped back and captured everyone having a great time, chatting, relaxing and dancing aplenty.
