Shrigley Hall Wedding Photography

I’m really lucky that shooting weddings allow me to meet so many lovely people and share with them one of the greatest days in their lives. When I joined Laura & Steven it was no different, a real privilege to get to know them and their family and friends.

I started the day with Laura as she prepared herself and relaxed with her girls. Her sister & mum were on hand to expertly tie Laura into her gorgeous wedding dress. Once everyone was ready, I raced ahead to meet up with Steven who was waiting with his groomsmen and greeting the couple’s family and friends at St Georges Church in Heaviley.

St Georges Church Wedding Ceremony

Laura arrived shortly after and was escorted down the aisle by her proud father. The couple then enjoyed their ceremony before signing the register and completing the formal part of their day. They then made their way up the aisle to be congratulated by their family and friends, exited the church to a flurry of confetti and into a warm car with a delicious glass of champaign.

After driving through the gorgeous Macclesfield countryside we arrived at the majestic Shrigley Hall and spent some time with the couple for some portraits as their guests arrived. We then paused for some family groups before the couple enjoyed an afternoon of chatting before their wedding breakfast. Once it was time, everyone took their seats, Laura & Steven were introduced into the room.

After their delicious meal, the wedding party was treated to a round of speeches before relaxing in the bar. As the evening began, we stole the couple away from some portraits in the sun before returning to greet their evening guests. Once their party room was ready, everyone was treated to a very special Michael Buble tribute act. Soon after, the couple took to the floor to cut their cake and enjoy their first dance together. They were soon joined by their family and friends who partied the night away with them!

So Huge Congratulations to Laura & Steven!! Thanks so much for having me with you as your photographer, it was a really amazing day!
